Brane T. Červek: An Emotional Letter to Nature and a Message to Humanity

Brane T. Červek is a certified military survival instructor for special forces and the founder of S.S.F.N. (The School of Survival from Nature – Special Forces Training) based in Slovenia. It is a professional organization that provides training in S.E.R.E. programs (Survival / Evasion / Resistance / Escape), as well as tactical training in Combat Tracking and Counter-Tracking. All these programs and courses are based on professional training in general survival, evasion, resistance, and escape in hostile environments, intended for special military units – special operations forces, reconnaissance units, combat pilots, various armies, and others. Brane has over 35 years of work experience in teaching elite units, which also led to the filming of 28 television episodes titled “Survival in the Wild.” His letter to Mother Nature is presented below.

Mother Nature, selfless mother, who effortlessly and unconditionally accepts me as I am…

I want you to know that I simply love what I already know about you, and at the same time, I unconditionally believe in what I do not yet know about you.

With respect for your, sometimes challenging, yet greatest perfection, and with trust in your eternal wisdom, I swear to you in my humility and utmost reverence, because you, Mother Nature, can do without me, but I can in no way do without you.

The greatness of man and humanity is in vain; we are not essential to nature, it can certainly continue without us, no matter what we decide or wage war over. Until we learn to respect ourselves, we will never respect the beings around us. Nature is ready for evolution; it has fed species larger than us, and it has starved species larger than us. When nature flourishes, so does our life; when nature declines, so does our life. Our actions will seal our fate, not hers.

nd even if we are convinced that we have taken control of our planet and often dream of discovering new worlds, the truth is that we do not even know what is in our own hair. More or less, we kill for fun and sport, not knowing where our daily bread comes from. Yes, it is true how easily we forget the humility we learned in difficult times… and that is precisely what we need! In fact, here on Earth, we are all just satellites… it seems we orbit in a rather safe trajectory, all seeking wealth and victory over others in their mistakes, and what we have truly learned is that we more or less only take. We feed off the backs of the poor, and then we cry because our stomachs hurt. In some moments, we actually behave like spoiled children with the bank cards of rich and ungrounded parents, because everything we think we own is only on loan, and few people are aware of this.

Today’s gentlemen, wearing ironed ties, mostly in beautiful and fine clothes, with a cinematic smile – unfortunately, I am not talking about philanthropists – with the help of the media they control, they pretend to save the world. In fact, that is our own poison. While the people – husbands, mothers, and our children – give up a lot every day, this elite that sells us all sorts of solutions for a better life and a brighter future sacrifices absolutely nothing. They continue to rob and poison us without mercy, and we, the sheep, accept it all without any dignity or fight. People, we lost long ago because we sold ourselves for a few candies they threw at us, and in reality, we quarrel among ourselves due to the manipulations of excellent actors, sold-out and well-known global players.

ust imagine for a moment, turn off the light in the room and go outside into nature, take off your shoes, feel the earth between your toes, do not even breathe, disconnect, feel the peace and quiet, listen to the rhythm of your heart within you, stay just one night with nothing in nature. The truth will hit you like never before. It is sad that we currently live in a time when truth is more abstract than lies, and that is quite normal. Bureaucracy actually creates a shield for the elite, while they limit our own freedom before our eyes. They create a better life for us – ha ha ha! Look at the civilization that boasts large cities from one hundred thousand to several million inhabitants in megacities – and then imagine how many tons of waste all these people produce daily, and they do not even grow a handful of food, not for themselves, let alone for others. All that dirt must go somewhere – of course, into rivers, lakes, and seas. Just imagine how much waste, plastic, acids, metals, poisons, and gases are created due to numerous cars. And yes, people in these cities create pollution with ships, airplanes that constantly bring food, packaging, devices, and other products for this “normal civilization.” We, the “abnormal people,” who live in the countryside far from these cities, living off nature, are harassed by their bureaucracy because we burn leaves in autumn, thus destroying the planet and causing global warming.

My God… if you do not see now that man is a cancer to himself, then we are still the same monkeys who fell on their heads from a tree. Everything is up to us, how we decide, because on the other hand, we know very well who the enemy is. There is no magic here, but boiling water can make an egg harder and a potato soft. It is up to us to recognize who and what we are, and what we will eventually become if we allow ourselves to be brainwashed. We are on the verge of change, but for now, we are only loudly talking about necessary change because it is currently trending. We would all change the world, but no one would change themselves. “Being united” is just the beginning, “staying together” is progress, and “working together” is success. However, there are many good people in this world, and if you do not find them, it is up to you to become one of them. When we clean our own mirror, we will be able to accept ourselves and then change.

We truly need little to change, and everything else is an advertisement for laundry detergent before a football match broadcast. All stories have one common denominator – nature. A human heart without nature eventually hardens and becomes stiff and insensitive. We can clearly see all this today because no one hears even themselves, let alone nature. What has Mother Nature taught me? That I must feel that I am a part of this world and that I am not just passing through, because that is a big difference. A message to all civilized aliens from the cities, a message to the gentlemen in ties and women’s underwear – do not push us, the abnormal ones, to the edge, because we are your branch, not the other way around.

The playground of foolishness has no limits – we could discuss various topics because there are countless gems among them. Enough of warring, enough of poisoning, enough of foolishness and tolerance towards these monkeys, for whom money is worth more than the lives of children. This will not pass on its own, and if we are lucky enough to fight one last time and fall on our heads from the branch just once more, then you, civilized gentlemen, can continue to eat money if you can. Because one of us new ones will leave that red apple and rather eat the snake, just so this evil that consumes the fruits finally stops.
